Legal document templates you can draft by typing
Klevo has templates for common legal documents: power of attorney, affidavits, cease and desist letters, demand letters, legal notices, warning letters, release forms, settlement agreements, complaints and responses. Pick one and type the facts, and the AI drafts the document in plain, formal language for you to review.
How to use a template
- Open the templates. In the Klevo app tap Templates, or open them in your browser.
- Pick a layout. Tap a template to open it. Every template is a real PDF you can download straight away.
- Fill it in by typing. Type or paste your details and say what you want, for example “draft a demand letter to Acme Inc for an unpaid invoice of $2,400, 14 days to pay”. The AI fills in the document and keeps the layout.
- Refine and export. Keep adjusting in plain words, undo anything, then download the PDF, share a link or send it for e-signature.

How a demand letter works
A demand letter is often the step before small-claims court. It should state what is owed and why, list the evidence, set a clear deadline, and say what you will do if the deadline passes. Keep it factual and calm; it may be read later by a judge.
Cease and desist letters
A cease and desist letter asks someone to stop an activity, such as using your trademark, harassment or a breach of contract. Describe the activity, the right it infringes, what you want them to do and by when.
Important: Klevo’s templates and AI drafts are a starting point, not legal advice. For anything high-stakes, have a qualified professional review the final document. Rules for affidavits and powers of attorney, such as witnessing and notarization, vary by country and state.
Frequently asked questions
Are the legal templates free?
Klevo is free to download and includes free AI edits every day. Pro removes the daily limit: in the phone app through the App Store or Google Play, or on the web for $7.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
Can I use these documents without a lawyer?
Many people draft simple letters themselves. Klevo’s templates and AI drafts are a starting point, not legal advice. For anything high-stakes, have a qualified professional review the final document.
Does an affidavit or power of attorney need a notary?
Often, yes. Many jurisdictions require a witness or notary for these documents. Check the rules where you live before relying on one.
Can I send a document for signature?
In many places, including under the US ESIGN Act and the EU eIDAS Regulation, electronic signatures are legally recognized for most everyday agreements. Some documents, such as wills or certain property deeds, have extra requirements. Klevo appends a certificate page recording each signer’s name, the time, IP address and device.
