How to edit a PDF on Windows

To edit the text of a PDF on Windows 10 or 11 without Adobe, open app.klevo.info in Edge or Chrome, upload the PDF and type the change, such as “update the address to 45 King Street” or “change Net 15 to Net 30”. Step by step

  1. Open Klevo in Edge or Chrome. Go to app.klevo.info. Nothing to install.
  2. Upload the PDF. Choose Edit a PDF and pick the file from File Explorer.
  3. Type the change. Write the edit in plain words, for example “fix all typos” or “replace the logo text with Studio Nine”.
  4. Download. Check the result, refine or undo, then download the PDF.

Built-in options on Windows

  • Microsoft Edge: opens PDFs and lets you draw, highlight, add text boxes and fill forms. It cannot edit the existing text.
  • Microsoft Word: can open a PDF and convert it to an editable document. It works for simple text, but tables, columns and fonts often shift, and you have to export a PDF again.
